- Injection tiles. Quite durable, 9-14 millimeters thick. The pattern on the tiles is deep and of high quality, with a regular geometric shape. Thanks to reasonable cost, excellent operational characteristics and attractive appearance, the demand for it is quite high.
- Extruded tiles. The thinnest of all varieties, no more than 3 millimeters thick. Despite its small thickness, it is durable and strong. Its price largely depends on the texture and color, for example, white is the cheapest, but colored varieties of ceiling tiles without seams are significantly more expensive. Extruded tiles are distinguished by a variety of contours, for example, zigzag or wave-like shapes. This feature makes it unique, more attractive and greatly simplifies installation.
The choice of the type of seamless tile depends only on your preferences, the characteristics of the room in which it will be installed and the planned budget.
Choosing the right one

Having prepared everything you need and purchased the required number of tiles, pull them out of the packaging and lay them out on a flat surface for several hours so that they straighten as best as possible and make them easier to glue. But before we figure out how to glue seamless ceiling tiles, let's consider how to prepare the base surface.
Attention: It should not have significant defects (cracks, irregularities, etc.).
The preparatory work phase includes the following steps:

Apply glue with a spatula to each tile along the edges and in the middle. Depending on the manufacturer, it may have a different exposure time, usually not exceeding 15 minutes (to find out this indicator exactly, read the instructions).
Also, for installing seamless slabs on the ceiling, you can use liquid nails, which are characterized by quick and strong adhesion to the surface. Their use allows you not to worry about exposure, because you just need to apply liquid nails to the material and immediately glue it to the ceiling.

Tiles installed near walls are cut according to the right sizes. Their parameters must be verified as accurately as possible, since if a mistake is made and the tiles are of insufficient size, the gap between them and the wall surface will not be closed.
The tiles should be mounted as closely as possible to each other, otherwise you will not be able to make a beautiful and high quality ceiling without seams and your work will go down the drain.
Attention: If you are using special glue rather than liquid nails for gluing, press each tile well to the surface for as long as indicated in the instructions.
During the use of seamless tiles, several recommendations were created that we will share with you:

Installation procedure
How to perform the correct material calculation
Before you begin installing ceiling tiles, you will need to calculate required quantity elements. To determine them, you need to find the area of the ceiling surface and find out the size of the panels. Products are usually produced standard sizes 50 by 50 cm in packs of 8 pcs. One such package will be enough to finish two square meters of ceiling.
Having calculated the required amount of material, purchase it with a margin of 10-15%, in case the dimensions of the ceiling are not a multiple of the sides of the products, or a defect occurs during the installation process.
