Although, of course, it must be implemented with high quality, it must provide heat for a long time and evenly... In a heating project, the house is more important - its insulation, size, layout and placement of the stove in the house.

So, the first and most important thing in heating a house:

Insulation of the house.

Namely, a warm foundation, floors, walls, ceilings and roofing (if the attic is not cold).

If the house has specific cold bridges, drafts, thin uninsulated walls, poor wind protection in problem areas(roof skirt, for example). When laying the stove and finishing, of course, this will require more effort than just having a stove in the studio...

The same layouts can be extrapolated to houses with an area of up to 100 sq.m. Simply increase the room proportionally and the furnace power accordingly.

Each of the previous examples of planning a one-story house can be made two-story - just think about the place where to build the staircase. The specific layout depends on the wishes of the owners, family composition, lifestyle and work of adults, age of children and many other nuances. Therefore, there can be a lot of options.

If you have few children or none yet, this seems insignificant... but if you have four or five... life already appears in a different light.

It is very inconvenient if the play area is combined with a recreation area. Because you can’t really relax in company with children. In addition, it is inconvenient if children play in the kitchen or dining area. Therefore, it is very convenient to equip a leisure area for children on the second floor.
