  • Half-fat cottage cheese 500 g.
  • Chicken egg 1 pc.
  • Sugar 5 tbsp. spoon
  • Premium wheat flour 3 tbsp. spoon
  • Cocoa powder 1 tbsp. spoon
  • Sunflower oil 3 tbsp. spoon

Step by step

  1. Today I made cheesecakes with cocoa, it turned out very tasty, sweet and most importantly the child was delighted. So, let's prepare the necessary products: homemade semi-fat cottage cheese, sugar, premium wheat flour, raw chicken egg, dark cocoa powder and refined sunflower oil for frying. Let's get started.
  2. Knead homemade cottage cheese with a fork to remove large lumps. Add raw chicken egg and sugar. Mix. Let's stand for a while. If the cottage cheese is very wet, then place it in a colander or cheesecloth and let the excess moisture drain for a couple of hours.
  3. Add premium wheat flour and cocoa powder. I buy cocoa powder - dark, it has a brighter taste. Mix thoroughly. The curd mixture is ready for frying.
  4. Scoop up the curd mass with a tablespoon and roll into small balls with wet hands. Flatten and shape the cheesecakes. Roll in wheat flour on all sides, shaking off excess flour.
  5. Heat the frying pan over the fire. Fry in refined vegetable oil in small batches on both sides until golden brown. Do not cover with a lid, otherwise they will spread. Make the fire medium.
  6. Cheesecakes with cocoa are ready. Very sweet, with chocolate taste. Serve with sour cream. Enjoy your meal!

Cheese pancakes are my favorite pan-baked product. I love them because they are tasty and quick to prepare, and also because you can use low-fat cottage cheese for them and thereby make your breakfast less high in calories, but at the same time just as nutritious and healthy.

However, cheesecakes are especially good because they can be prepared in a variety of ways, for example, with chocolate. If you have never made cheesecakes with chocolate filling, I highly recommend trying it today! This is delicious!

To prepare cheesecakes with chocolate filling, prepare the ingredients according to the list. I used low-fat cottage cheese, so the calorie content is indicated accordingly. If we also subtract the oil remaining after frying, the actual calorie content of the finished cheesecakes will be about 198 kcal.

Mix cottage cheese, egg, sugar, vanilla sugar and flour in a bowl.

Form 10 small cakes from the resulting homogeneous mass. Place a square of chocolate in the middle of each cake.

Wrap the chocolate inside the curd mass and form the cheesecakes into their final shape. Lightly roll in flour.

Fry over medium heat in hot vegetable oil, about 1.5 minutes on each side.

Place the finished cheesecakes with chocolate filling on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Serve the cheesecakes warm. You can add honey, sour cream or condensed milk to them.

Recipe chocolate cheesecakes:

First you need to beat the egg and mix it with sugar and cocoa powder. Whisk these ingredients into a homogeneous mixture, preferably completely dissolving the sugar. Season with vanilla to taste, if you like.

Add cottage cheese to the chocolate mixture. It is advisable to choose low-fat or 5% fat cottage cheese, then the cheesecakes will not be “liquid”, otherwise you will have to add more semolina or wheat flour, and because of this the dish will become hard and not juicy. Using a whisk, mix the cottage cheese with the chocolate mixture, you will get something like a sweet chocolate curd.

Now add semolina and leave the dough for 15 minutes so that the semolina absorbs moisture and swells slightly.

With hands dipped in water, form identical small chocolate cheesecakes from the dough.

You can fry the curds in sunflower oil, although it is quite possible to do this in butter, or you can even bake them cheesecakes in the oven. Fry both sides over low heat for about a minute.

Hot chocolate cheesecakes are tastier than cold ones, so serve them immediately; you can decorate the dish with berries, add cherry syrup, powdered sugar or grated chocolate. Honey, sour cream, whipped cream - all this is also served at your discretion, because everyone has different tastes.
