What is the best way to glue carrot seeds onto paper and how to do it correctly? Planting carrots using toilet paper How to glue seeds to toilet paper.

Many people are waiting for spring to open summer season and start planting vegetables. First of all, prepare personal plot, buy seeds, plant seedlings in order to harvest in the fall and enjoy them on long winter evenings.

Experienced gardeners prefer to plant carrots on toilet paper

Before planting the crop in the ground, the grains are germinated. Most often, planting is done using toilet paper, on which you need to stick the seeds. This is a progressive method, proven over the years. The method can be used for all seeds, including especially small ones - carrots. Most summer residents who have at least once tried this remedy, begin to use it constantly. Stores sell carrots on a strip, but they cost several times more than a regular bag of seeds. Therefore, in order to reduce costs, you can prepare such a tape yourself.

Germination of seeds

Despite the large number of other methods, this method is popular among summer residents. You can sow seedlings for germination in a regular box filled with soil, in a saucer, or in a damp cloth. Planting in the ground does not guarantee crop germination. But in addition, constant control of humidity is necessary.

It is much more convenient to germinate seeds in toilet paper. Let us highlight the main advantages of the method:

  • Space saving. Even if a large number of bags with various seeds are prepared, this does not play any role.
  • Moisture retention. Constant control over it is not required here.
  • Visualization of the method. Everyone will be able to personally verify that the seeds have sprouted and can be further transferred to open ground.

How do seeds germinate?

Germinating carrot seeds on toilet paper is very easy. You can do this yourself with your own hands. What is needed to apply the method:

  • toilet paper (three-layer);
  • sprayer;
  • dense polyethylene;
  • small capacity.

Cut the polyethylene into strips 7-8 cm wide. Make the length as you need. On each strip the variety of vegetable is indicated, which is necessary if carrots were purchased of more than one type. Toilet paper is placed on top of the film. Using a sprayer, thoroughly moisten the paper. For greater efficiency Special preparations can be diluted in water.

The process is not complicated and very convenient, and does not require special care for the shoots. You can see if all the carrot seeds have sprouted. If after a certain time no sprouts appear, then this type There is no point in purchasing carrots in the future.

Place the carrot grains on the prepared tape. Leave 1 cm from the top edge. In case of good germination and leaving it in this form for for a long time To prevent the seeds from getting tangled with each other, it is necessary to maintain a distance. After these manipulations, roll the tape. Further everything will happen without your participation. Place the roll in the container so that the bottom edge of the tape is at the bottom. Pour some water, cover with film and send the homemade greenhouse to a warm place. After some time, check the seedlings. If they appear, then transfer the seedlings to open ground; if not, repeat the procedure.

Planting carrot seedlings allows you to get maximum yield

Sowing carrots in the ground

Quite often, carrots are planted directly in open ground. But since the grains are very small, it is difficult to plant them immediately at a certain distance. Therefore, after germination, the plant has to be pruned, and this is fraught negative consequences. After all, during transplantation the crop can be damaged, and it is not known how it will survive the dive, so many people prefer to thin out and throw out excess seedlings.

In addition, it often happens that a lot of time is spent on planting and the seeds are immediately scattered from each other at a decent distance. But suddenly it started raining... What happens to the planting material? It just floats away and then comes out in the most unexpected places in the garden.

To prevent this from happening, initially sow carrot seeds on toilet paper. This will help you keep it in place. And you can forget about picking. It will grow through the paper, take root and stay in place. You can make such ribbons in the winter, and in the summer all that remains is to plant them in the ground.

For sowing, it is better to take high-quality seed material, so that you do not have to wait for seedlings all summer. Materials needed for the process: glue and toilet paper. Make strips of paper 2-3 cm wide. Lubricate it with homemade glue and use tweezers to transfer the seeds, placing them at a certain distance from each other.

If you don’t want to mess around with glue, you can take two-layer paper. When moving the layers apart, you need to carefully place the grains between them.

The paper strip method can also be used for planting in open ground.

Preparing homemade glue

To stick the seeds, you need glue. But PVA will not work here. You need a homemade paste, which is not difficult to prepare. You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 glass of water;
  • 1 tsp flour or potato starch.

To prepare the paste, pour the prepared dry mixture into boiling water. If desired, you can add some mineral fertilizer to the paste. Cool the mixture and get to work. Grease the paper with cooled paste and glue the seeds. You can glue them using tweezers or a damp cotton swab. Before rolling the strip into a roll, wait until it is completely dry so that you don’t have to tear it off later. Place the roll in a bag, labeling the carrot variety.

You can prepare the paste in a matter of minutes

Preparing the soil for planting

In order for carrot grains to germinate well and smoothly, the soil should be prepared for planting. It is best to dig up the soil in the fall, so it can have a good rest. Two weeks before the start of spring seasonal work, go over the dug-up beds with a rake. Remember the time. Sowing carrots must be done a little earlier, since it will not be possible to germinate seeds glued to the tape with paste. Even if the seeds were chosen successfully, you will have to wait about three weeks.

Do not delay sowing, otherwise the autumn root crop will not have enough time to fully ripen.

The soil for carrots should be well loosened

Landing

The carrots are ready for planting, the beds are ready too, you can start sowing in open ground. We take a rake and re-harrow the bed prepared for sowing, after which we make furrows and thoroughly soak them warm water. We lay out unfolded strips of tape along the grooves, the seeds should be facing towards the soil.

Another advantage this method. To do this, imagine sowing seeds when there is wind. When planting using this method, neither wind nor rain is a problem.

All you have to do is put the seeds glued with paste on paper and sprinkle them with soil. Now cover the plantings with black polyethylene and leave it like that for about 1.5-2 weeks.

Advantages of the method

  • ribbons are prepared in comfortable conditions;
  • clear distribution of seeds over the entire surface;
  • they are sown at the same depth, which is also important. Thanks to this approach, the seedlings will be friendly;
  • crops are not afraid of any weather conditions;
  • this method saves the family budget, because everything can be done with your own hands;
  • ease of care in the first weeks: no need to water or weed, even the carrot fly has no opportunity to lay eggs.

Thus, carrot seeds glued to tape using paste are a good way to plant a vegetable crop, and it is also completely safe for humans.

Most amateur gardeners very often plant carrots in their garden, since this crop is without special troubles grows in open ground. Its advantages also include an increased content of vitamins and microelements. And in terms of the amount of keratin, carrots are known to be the leader among vegetable crops(not counting sea buckthorn).

Requirements for planting seeds

However, in order to get fairly large and even carrot fruits, we first advise you to familiarize yourself with the basic requirement that must be met when planting them in open ground. This rule assumes that when planting seeds, it is necessary to thin them out (this procedure is the main condition for obtaining a good harvest).

Maintaining a given distance between seeds allows you to obtain fruits of a neat shape and a fairly large size, but with manual planting this is not always possible.

Important! The fact is that when watering the seeds, they change their original position or float up, as a result of which the entire carefully prepared planting system is completely destroyed. A similar effect is observed after heavy torrential rains.

The only correct way out of this situation is to find a way to artificially maintain the required distance of one seed from another. This approach to planting them comes down to the use of special techniques that make it possible to reliably plant seeds in the soil of a garden plot.

As a basis for such fixation, commonly used household adhesive tape or any other material on which they can be easily glued by hand is usually used. But before you try to place carrot seeds on the tape and how to plant them in the ground, be sure to read the contents of the following chapters.

Methods for gluing (preparing) seeds

In order to clearly understand how to plant carrots on a tape in open ground, you should first become familiar with the techniques that allow you to fix the distance between the seeds when placing them on flexible carriers. The whole secret of this approach to growing carrots is that in this case they are not afraid of either rain or strong water pressure that can mix them up.

The top five most common ways to plant carrot seeds include the following options for their strip placement:

  • Purchase of ready-to-use seed ribbons;
  • Independent placement on special adhesive tape;
  • Using store-bought toilet paper for these purposes, it is not difficult to glue seeds onto it;
  • Planting seeds on ordinary paper napkins;
  • Boarding options different bases using homemade starch or flour paste.

Each of these approaches has its own characteristics and disadvantages, which should be considered separately.

Buying ready-made tape

Pre-gluing carrot seeds onto adhesive tape is considered one of the most reliable ways to fix them spatially.

Additional Information. To help the amateur gardener, the industry has mastered the mass production of ready-made ribbons, made in the form of thin and long strips with a special seed component planted on glue.

The seeds are distributed along the entire length at a fixed distance from one another, which guarantees optimal germination of each root crop. All carrot lovers need to do in this situation is to go out and buy the ready-to-eat stuff. During planting, such strips are laid in previously loosened grooves and then lightly sprinkled with soil.

Tapes for planting carrots

As the seed germinates, the paper with glue applied to it disintegrates under the influence of soil moisture, and the remaining free sprouts of the future fruit continue to develop. The advantages of this method of preparing for planting include the fact that store-bought carrot seeds do not need pre-treatment and preparation.

The disadvantages of this approach include, first of all, the high cost of strip blanks. And, indeed, if you plan to plant large areas with seed materials, considerable sums will be required to purchase them.

In addition, the quality of such planting stock is only getting worse every year. That is why most gardeners, having learned this lesson well, prefer to stick seeds onto tapes with their own hands.

Self-sticking

All those who have a keen eye and reliable hand, they can easily make such a base for seeds themselves. This option is also suitable in cases where it is necessary to plant varieties of special (elite) carrots.

Planting with toilet paper

Any suitable soft fabric or similar base with a natural adhesive composition (paste, for example) applied to it can be used as a tape. But most gardeners liked the well-known toilet material. For anyone who would like to know how to stick carrot seeds on toilet paper for planting, we advise you to read the following instructions:

  • Before planting carrots on toilet paper, first of all, you need to check the germination percentage of the prepared material;
  • To do this, you first need to take several seeds and place them in a cotton cloth well moistened with water, after which it is wrapped in polyethylene and then kept in a warm place without drying out;
  • After ten days, you should open the polyethylene and assess the degree of hatching, and then select only high-quality seed material with maximum germination rates (preferably up to 100%).

Important! For gluing on paper, only dry seeds are taken, which should be selected in winter or as soon as spring arrives.

All further actions seed preparation must be developed in compliance with the following rules:

  • Firstly, the toilet paper is cut into strips approximately 2-3 cm wide, after which you can start preparing paste or jelly (your choice, whichever is more convenient for you).

Additional Information. Homemade carrot paste can be prepared using flour or starch according to a recipe known to any housewife.

To do this, you need to slowly add 2 tablespoons of flour into a glass of boiling water with stirring. After the composition thickens, you should leave it until completely cooled.

  • Secondly, using a match, small drops of paste are applied to the paper in increments of approximately 3-5 cm, and then the seeds are placed in them one by one using a moistened needle.

Having finished gluing the seeds onto the paste, you can proceed to the procedure of drying the finished ribbons, which are left for about a day. Once drying is complete, they are carefully rolled into tubes and stored in a dry and cool place until the start of the planting season.

Planting ribbons

Before sowing the prepared material into garden soil, the following requirements must be met:

  • It is recommended to dig up the soil in the area planned for planting in late autumn to give it a little rest. And with the arrival of spring, about a month before planting carrots, you should thoroughly rake through the previously dug up soil;
  • Immediately before planting, the soil for carrots should be thoroughly harrowed;
  • A day before you start directly sowing seeds in the soil, you should take up the rake again in order to slightly loosen the soil;
  • After this, in the area where it is planned to plant carrots, it will be necessary to make deep furrows about 4 cm wide, which are then necessarily spilled with warm water;

Note! The distance between adjacent rows of strip plantings should remain at least 10 cm.

  • Before sowing carrots by laying a tape in the ground, it is important to ensure that the plane with the seeds is facing towards the ground.

Following these generally simple rules allows you to get a good harvest of your favorite crop at the end of the season. We should also not forget about the need to provide appropriate care for the planted seeds. It usually manifests itself in the fact that after the seedlings are lightly sprinkled with soil, they must be covered with opaque polyethylene, which retains heat well.

Its edges must be pressed as tightly as possible to the ground using bricks or heavy stones, which eliminates the possibility of the coating being torn off strong wind. After a couple of weeks, the film can be removed completely, thereby ensuring full access sun rays. If the seed planting area is on the north side of the site, the film can be removed no earlier than 18 days after sowing.

In conclusion, we note that planting carrot seeds with a ribbon in open ground is quite a labor-intensive and responsible task. That is why the preparatory stage described in the first half of the review is of particular importance.

What tricks do gardeners resort to in order to grow bountiful harvest. Proper germination and planting planting material play a key role in the success of the entire process, so it's worth considering different variants preparatory activities, as well as learn more about the technology for performing the task itself. This article will talk about planting carrots using toilet paper, why this option is beneficial, and how to organize everything correctly - read on.

What is this method and what are its features?

Planting carrots on paper involves performing standard preparatory measures with soaking the seeds and preparing the substrate. Basic distinctive characteristic V in this case It is advisable to place the planting material not immediately in open ground, but first on a tape or piece of toilet paper, while maintaining the uniform distribution of the planting material. There are many advantages of such a solution, but at the same time we should not forget about the possible disadvantages of such a landing.

pros

  • The large number of advantages of “paper” planting carrots has made this method very popular among summer residents, and here are the main reasons for this phenomenon:
    • long-term preservation of optimal moisture content of sown seeds;
    • saving space in the garden bed for sowing crops;
    • the possibility of better rejection of seed material (suitable seeds and damaged material are visible to the naked eye);
    • ease of caring for seedlings in the first weeks after sowing;
    • the possibility of uniform distribution of carrots in the soil;
    • resistance to washing out of seeds and young shoots during significant precipitation;
    • uniform occurrence of individual seeds in the soil, which will ensure uniform emergence of seedlings;
    • saving seed material, since in most cases it is no longer necessary to finish sowing carrots;
    • higher resistance of carrots to low temperatures and sudden weather changes.

Some gardeners claim that carrots planted on paper suffer less from carrot flies because this method planting provides cover for the bed, and the pest cannot lay eggs in the area with the crop. Of course, it is impossible to guarantee the complete absence of an insect, but the likelihood of its appearance is still minimal.

Did you know? Fresh carrot provides the body with a boost of energy no worse than coffee, so to stimulate protein production and improve oxygen delivery to muscle tissue, it is better to replace a cup of coffee drink with a glass of freshly squeezed carrot juice, drunk in the morning.

Minuses

No significant disadvantages were found in planting carrots using paper., and the minimal disadvantages of this method can be considered a long wait for seedlings (on average 1–2 weeks longer in comparison with plants sown directly into the ground). In addition, it will take more time preparatory activities, because rejecting and fixing seeds on a piece of paper requires more attention.

How to stick carrot seeds on toilet paper or napkins yourself

Modern gardening stores can offer their customers ready-made paper tapes for planting a crop, but using regular toilet paper will be much cheaper, which explains its relevance when planting carrots in this way. If there is a suitable adhesive composition there will be nothing difficult in fixing the planting material,
The main thing: adhere to the requirements of the technology for preparing the paste itself and choose only high-quality seeds of the crop.

Rules for selecting seed material

When rejecting purchased planting material, the first task is to select suitable seeds based on their weight. To carry out the procedure, you need to prepare a standard saline solution (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water) and, after thoroughly mixing the components, lower the seeds into the liquid. Floating specimens that did not sink within 5–10 minutes should be thrown away immediately, and heavy ones should be rinsed from salt and dried to a free-flowing state. If desired, you can additionally disinfect carrots in a weak solution of potassium permanganate, keeping the seeds for at least half an hour. After the allotted time has passed, the seed is dried again and only then laid out on a prepared paper strip.

Preparing glue for sowing carrots

Without an adhesive base, the seeds will not stick to the toilet paper, so when preparing carrot seeds for planting, you should think about suitable glue. Standard options an adhesive base (like PVA glue) will not work in this case, so you will have to cook the paste yourself: take 1 tsp for 1 glass of boiling water. flour or starch and after stirring, allow the composition to brew a little.

To increase nutritional properties ready mixture some gardeners prefer to add a little mineral fertilizers, based on 1 tbsp. l. per 1 liter of finished composition.

Important!Before use, it is necessary to cool the paste and only after that apply it to the prepared strip of paper, followed by immediately laying out the seeds (until they dry completely, the glue is already with them).

Seed location

To make gluing the seeds easier, you should use tweezers with thin edges or a regular cotton swab. You can apply the paste with a syringe or dropper, squeezing out a small drop of the substance in the desired place. The distance between adjacent seeds should be at least 4 cm and approximately the same amount should be left between adjacent rows of future seedlings. The filled pieces of paper should be left unrolled for a day, and after complete drying, rolled into a not very tight roll.

When the time comes for planting, the roll is unrolled and, carefully laid out on the garden bed, sprinkled with soil mixture, watering generously after the process is completed.

How to germinate carrot seeds on toilet paper

Pre-germination of planting material in this case is not a prerequisite before planting, but some gardeners use it to speed up the emergence of crop seedlings or for experimental purposes to assess the level of seed germination on paper.

In any case, you can germinate the decomposed seeds in the following way:
  1. Place the finished ribbons with future carrots on plastic strips, each 5–6 cm wide.
  2. Spray the planting material well with water from a spray bottle and roll everything into a roll again (along with plastic film).
  3. Place the roll in any container, pouring a small amount clean water, just so as not to flood the seeds.
  4. Cover the workpieces plastic bag and leave it like this for at least a week.
It will be possible to check the condition of the seeds in 7–10 days, and if they hatch, it’s time to think about transplanting the planting material to a garden bed or seedling box.

Important! Sprouting carrots should only occur in warm room with temperature values not lower than +25°C.

Preparing the soil for planting carrots on toilet paper

Preparation on paper is carried out according to generally accepted standards for this crop. Starting in the fall, the soil is dug up using a shovel full, all weeds and residues from harvesting other crops are removed. An acidic substrate must be limed.(300 g of lime per 1 m²), and in clay soil add a little sand (1 bucket per 1 m²).

In this case, manure is an extremely undesirable fertilizer, so when preparing soil for carrots, it is better to use complex mineral compounds or dig up the soil along with peat. Of the mineral compounds, it would be appropriate to use azofoska in the doses prescribed on the package. With the arrival of spring, after the soil layer has dried, you can embed wood ash into the soil, using at least 0.5 liters of the substance per 1 m² of land (it is good to then walk over the bed with a cultivator for better distribution of the mixture in the soil).
No matter what form carrots are sown on the site, this crop always prefers loose and nutrient substrate, therefore, before directly placing the tapes on the bed, it is worth fluffing up and leveling the ground again with a rake.

Planting carrots

Planting carrots with ribbons is one of the most simple ways performing a procedure that does not take much time. All actions are performed in the following order:

  1. To begin with, every 15–17 cm you need to make grooves 1–2 cm wide, using any handy tool(for example, a hoe).
  2. Then the soil in the prepared area should be well moistened using a watering can (without a mesh) and wait until the liquid is completely absorbed.
  3. As soon as the soil dries slightly, you need to carefully unwind the prepared roll, placing it clearly in the center of the organized groove (placing the seeds down or up is not so important, since paper material it will still get wet quickly and the seeds will fall into the soil).
  4. The laid out ribbons should be carefully sprinkled with soil and watered well, this time using the sprinkling method so as not to wash away the planted seeds.

If it is too hot outside and the soil may dry out quickly, over carrot beds It is worth installing a temporary shelter in the form of spunbond or a thin layer of hay that protects the ground from drying out.

Did you know? With regular consumption of carrots (if you chew them), the root vegetable can replace the usual toothbrush because carrotsjuice combined with mechanical impact Vegetables on your teeth contribute to their high-quality cleaning.

Features of planting care

The most important thing in post-planting care for carrots on paper strips is maintaining an optimal level of humidity. Drying out the soil threatens delayed germination or complete death of individual sprouts due to drying of the paste, so you will have to regularly water the plantings until the young sprouts appear. Loosening and removing weeds will not be necessary for some time, and in some cases it can even be harmful, since there is always the possibility of mechanical damage to the paper and the seeds glued to it during the procedure.
Planting carrots on paper - good way growing crops in open ground, which even a novice gardener can handle.

Despite the labor intensity preparatory process, in the future all care actions will be extremely simple, and the harvest of root crops will delight you in large volumes.

A standard 3g packet of carrot seeds will take about a third of a roll of toilet paper. But besides that, be patient: it will take quite a long time to glue the seeds. It’s good if you spend a winter evening or a rainy day doing this activity: you’ll do something useful and while away a bad time.

Surely you noticed that in the list necessary materials Only natural ones are indicated. We are talking about growing organic carrots, so the paper, which will then have to be buried in the ground, and the glue for the seeds should be very simple.

How to glue carrot seeds on paper?
1. First, prepare a paste - glue made from flour and water. Place the flour in a small ladle and fill it with the same amount of water (save 50 ml of water for later).

2. Place the ladle on the fire and, stirring all the time, cook a thick sticky mass. This is the paste - the most natural glue, which will help you in the future grow carrots in beautiful, even rows in the garden.

3. Cut about a meter of toilet paper and lay this strip in front of you. Take a little cooled paste into the syringe and, gently squeezing it out, apply a dot in the upper left corner of the strip. Then place a “drop” in the lower left corner, and another one between the first two drops. Thus, you will get a column of three adhesive dots located at a distance of 2-3 cm from each other. Stepping back the same amount to the right, apply the next three drops to the paper. And so on until the very end of the paper strip.

4. As a result, you should end up with a paper strip completely painted with paste dots. Why do you need to take exactly this distance - 2-3 cm? Imagine that in each drop there will be a carrot seed, from which a full-fledged vegetable will grow. Exactly 2-3 cm between drops is needed so that future vegetables do not interfere with each other in the ground!

5. Now quickly, before the paste has dried, take a toothpick and soak it in water (that’s why you left 50 ml of liquid).

6. Place carrot seeds in a bowl and touch one of them with a wet toothpick. The seed will immediately stick to the toothpick. Transfer it to one of the drops of paste on the paper and press it with a toothpick.

7. In the same way, transfer so many seeds onto the paper so that there is one in each drop. Then carefully lift the paper strip and move it to an area where it can dry. A horizontal surface, or even a step of a country staircase where you can hang paper, is suitable for this.

8. Using the same principle, apply the remaining seeds onto the paper. Wait for the paste to dry completely and roll each strip into a “roll”. Just before planting the carrots, you can cut each roll into three parts (corresponding to the lines with the seeds on the paper), and then carefully lay them out in the furrows of the beds.

It is best to place carrot seeds on paper in furrows with compost, and sprinkle a little water on them from a regular spray bottle on top and sprinkle with soil. Happy gardening experiments!

By the way
Some aesthetes like to apply paste to paper not just with a syringe, but with a syringe with an empty pen refill. This makes it more accurate, because without a rod, the adhesive solution can pour out on its own from time to time, spoiling the appearance of your even rows. We hasten to please you: there is nothing terrible in such “blunders”! The puddles of paste will dry just as well as the little droplets, so you can still place the carrot seeds neatly.

Well, have you been too long without work, my dear gardeners? Today we will look at another way to prepare seeds for sowing, which will just help pass the evening, and not just one. Let’s say right away: the activity is quite monotonous, but useful.

So let's get down to business. The essence of the work is to glue seeds onto paper strips. We take old newspapers or a roll of toilet paper and mark a grid on them with square cells of a certain size, for example, 5x5 cm. At the intersection of the lines we will stick seeds. Of course, ordinary PVA or silicate glue is not suitable for this purpose. It is best to take a paste made from flour. For convenience, you can put glue into a syringe without a needle, or use a match. A drop of glue, one seed on top - and you're done! All that remains is to dry the paper sheets and carefully roll them into a roll. Don’t worry about safety - the seeds will stay firmly in their designated place until a certain hour.

Sowing on paper. Why is this being done?

Of course, to facilitate the work of the vegetable grower. For example, this method helps me a lot when sowing greenhouses. I only glue the seeds onto narrow paper strips. It is very inconvenient to bend over into the greenhouse and lay out the seeds individually. And here I made grooves, laid out the finished ribbons, sprinkled earth on top and that’s it!

This method is also good for super early plantings. While other gardeners are waiting for the soil to dry out, we can get ahead of them and sow lettuce or radishes as early as possible. We lay out sheets of paper with seeds glued on the bed prepared in the fall and sprinkle them with a little sand. When the seeds germinate, they can easily break through the thin paper. Only if the seeds are glued to newspaper, then the bed should be slightly leveled and compacted with boards or shields before sowing.

One more thing advantage of sowing seeds on paper- saving seed material. The seeds germinate quickly, and no additional thinning of the seedlings is required. And thin paper over the course of one summer season rots in the ground, turning into humus.

You can stick seeds of different vegetable crops, such as radishes and carrots, nearby. We'll pick the radishes earlier, and the carrots will grow until the fall. Such preparation of seeds for sowing, of course, is not applicable for large areas. But be sure to take this method into account. What if it comes in handy?

Distance between seeds:

carrots, radishes – 5 cm

summer radish – 6 cm

winter radish – 13 cm

table beets – 8-10 cm

spinach – 3 cm

onions for greens – 3 cm

onion per turnip – 5-8 cm

dill, parsley – 1 cm

How to cook paste

Mix 1 tablespoon of flour or potato starch in a glass of warm water and bring to a boil. You don’t need to cook for a long time, just to thicken the liquid a little.
