Money transfers by. Transfer between bank cards

Nowadays, you can make payments for the purchase of goods and services, as well as send money to accounts, without leaving your home. To do this, have a device that can connect to the Internet. Next, you just have to choose a service that carries out money transactions. This article will present services that provide services for sending money to individuals and legal entities, and will also be given detailed instructions for carrying out the presented operations.

Service for sending money - performs an intermediary function between the sender and recipient of funds. Such services create an alternative to making cash payments (for example, previously it was possible to make a transfer only through a bank). The advantage of the service is that anyone can use it without registering a current account.

Differences between the service and banking organizations:

  1. Such organizations generally have an extensive network of representative offices.
  2. Allows you to easily perform the necessary operation within a few minutes.
  3. Commission for making monetary transactions, which on average ranges from 2 to 6 percent of the payment amount.

Principle of operation:

  1. The client comes to the organization’s branch or goes to their website (in the case online translation A).
  2. Next, you need to fill out an application for the transaction. The application indicates the sender's passport information, as well as the delivery address.
  3. After filling out the application, the sender only needs to deposit the required amount of money.
  4. After payment, the client is called secret code, which he must transfer to the recipient.
  5. As soon as the funds are transferred (the deadline for completing the application directly depends on the selected organization), the recipient can go to the designated branch, give the secret code and pick up the sent funds.

Thus, money is sent in almost all existing payment programs.

Video “How money transfer systems work”

There are many different reasons to send money to loved ones. Most often, such economic benefits are made by parents to their student children or by children who have gotten on their feet and financially support their parents. Most often, such regular shipments are made within the borders of our country. Therefore, the issue of cost is very relevant, because money transfers within Russia can be made different ways and in each case there will be advantages and disadvantages of the options.

Sending money by mail

The most widespread network of branches in the country is Russian Post. In all, even the most distant corners, there is at least one small working branch. One of the oldest enterprises provides different kinds services, including sending money.

It is worth noting that this method is one of the most expensive and longest.

But in some areas it is practically irreplaceable. After all, not everywhere there are alternative services willing to work, sometimes even at a loss.

Tariffs for sending money by Russian Post

The Post Office offers the CyberMoney service. Tariffs for small money transfers start from 40 rubles + 5% up to a thousand, up to 250 rubles + 1.5% up to half a million.

This means that for sending 1 thousand rubles you need to pay 90 rubles (9%) commission. And for an amount of 500 thousand, the payment will be 7,750 rubles (1.55%).

But you need to know that sending amounts up to 100 thousand takes 3 working days, and more than this amount, according to the regulations, can be issued in a maximum of 8 working days.

Pros: huge coverage of the country, you receive cash immediately, you can send large amounts.

Cons: high commission for small amounts, very low speed.

Translations of specialized systems

There are special companies to make transfers, such as Western Union, Unistream, Anelink or others. Some of them are almost two hundred years old. Western Union, for example, has branches almost all over the world. They also strive to speed up the process of sending and receiving within each country and regularly reduce shipping rates.

Now for an operation up to 10 thousand rubles you need to pay only 100 rubles fixed commission, and up to 100 thousand - 1% of the amount. When more than 100 thousand rubles need to be transferred, the client will pay a fixed commission of 1000 rubles.

System tariffs

You can pick up the money a couple of hours after sending. You just need to know the transfer code and have a passport. Some systems allow you to receive a transfer a few minutes after sending, for example, Zolotaya Korona.

Pros: high speed of money transfer, no need to have bank accounts.

Cons: fewer branches than the post office; you can only get it at specialized points.

Transfers between bank cards

A more profitable transfer is between cards of the same bank. In this way, you can even transfer money within Russia without a commission, and Sberbank offers this if the sender and recipient have accounts opened in the same city. Some banks, such as Tinkoff, do not charge fees for transfers between any client debit cards.

The maximum commission can rarely reach 2-3% of the amount. But there are restrictions on the volume of transfers. Different banks can have an average of 15 to 75 thousand per day. Large limits exist for transfers within a bank, and not between cards of different financial institutions.

Pros: high speed, average commission.

Cons: you need to have a bank card, you can only get cash at an ATM.

Sending through virtual payment systems

Younger users use the Qiwi, WebMoney or Yandex.Money systems for transfers. But cashing out through these services takes some time and is not free.

On average, a user must pay up to 3-4% of the amount to receive banknotes.

But the translation itself arrives instantly. Although there are also restrictions on maximum transfers. It will be a problem for unauthorized users to receive more than 15 thousand rubles.

Pros: 24/7 transfers, low sending fees.

Cons: problem with cashing out, limited low amounts for sending, you need to be registered in the service, commission for receiving is above average.

Transfer via bank

Can go traditional way and make a bank transfer to the account. In this case, the commission will range from 1 to 5% in different banks. The average value will be 1.5-2%.

But at the same time, the recipient must have a bank account and send full details to the person who wants to transfer the money. Also, you can actually withdraw the amount only through a bank branch in work time. Which imposes its own inconveniences for receiving. The transfer takes one working day maximum.

Pros: average transfer speed, average commission, cash receipt.

Disadvantages: you need to have an account, you can only get it on weekdays, you can only pick it up at one specific bank branch.

For transferring money in branches, service devices or Sberbank applications, a commission is provided. Let's consider different cases and tariffs applicable when sending funds.

The amount of interest charged by the bank will directly depend on what type of transfer you want to make. If you want to save money, it is better to send money through an ATM or Personal Account, as the percentage will be lower. However, if you need to transfer a large amount, or the money is intended for a recipient in another country, then such an operation can only be carried out at a bank branch through a cash desk.

Cashless payments

You can transfer from your mobile application, from the Sberbank Online system, through payment terminals and ATMs, as well as through company branches using funds in your bank account. This is very convenient, because... gives you a wide range of options to take advantage of.

All you have to do is choose the most suitable and least expensive one. Let's look at all the available methods in more detail.

  • From card to card– yours or another person’s. Done instantly.
  1. If the cards are yours, there is no commission,
  2. If the recipient's card is opened in the same region as yours, there is also no fee,
  3. In all other cases: if you transfer money through a branch, you will be charged 1.5% of the amount, but not less than 30 rubles and no more than 1000 rubles, and if through the Sberbank Online system - 1% of the amount (maximum 1000 rubles .).
  • Transfer to another bank using card number

Takes, on average, from 5 to 15 minutes. Maximum size one transfer cannot exceed 30,000 rubles. There is a daily limit: for Electron and Maestro cards - 50 thousand per day, for others - 150 thousand. There is no possibility of cancellation. The commission for transfers via Internet banking is 1.5% of the amount, but not less than 30 rubles.

  • From card to– to your own or any other bank. The commission also ranges from 0 to 2% of the amount, and the sending time can be up to 2 days.
  • From account to account– also takes up to 2 days, the fee will be from 1% to 2% of the transferred amount. It is possible to cancel the operation, the cost is 150 rubles.
  1. If the recipient has an account with Sberbank, the transfer is free within the same city. If accounts are opened in different regions, then: when transferring through a branch you will pay 1.5% of the amount (no less than 30 and no more than 1000 rubles), and through Sberbank Online - 1%, no more than 1 thousand,
  2. If the recipient is serviced by another banking company: when sending funds through a branch, you will have to pay 2% of the amount (no less than 50 and no more than 1,500 rubles), and through your Personal Account 1% (maximum up to 1,000 rubles).
  • From account to card– takes up to 2 days maximum, with a fee ranging from 0.7 to 2%. It is possible to cancel the transfer.

  • From account to cash— you can make a transfer in rubles, dollars or euros, such an operation will be subject to a commission of 1.5% (minimum 30 and maximum 1000 rubles), the implementation period is up to 2 working days. It should be noted that receipt is possible only at Sberbank branches.

Cash transfers

They are carried out on a regular and urgent basis; then we will look at their main features:

  • In the first case, the period is from 1 to 2 days, and the fee for sending money varies from 0 to 2%. It depends on where exactly the money is sent and where the recipient’s card was opened.

  • In the second case, a system is used that is widespread throughout Russia; receipt is possible only at Sberbank branches. sending takes 10 minutes, you can transfer no more than 500 thousand, a commission of 1.5% is charged (minimum 150 and maximum 1000 rubles)

Additional Information

As you can see, the tariffs very much depend on which method of transferring funds you choose, and where exactly the recipient opened his account or card. The most profitable way is to send money through remote service channels, i.e. through an ATM or the Sberbank Online system.

However, there is one caveat here, which is called a limit restriction. Each client has his own individual limits, which also apply to transfers.

Owners of entry-level cards (Social, Momentum) can spend the least - no more than 50,000 rubles per day, holders of high-class cards (Gold, Premium) can spend the most - up to 300 thousand per day.

If you need to transfer a large sum of money, then, unfortunately, it will not be possible to do this through the system; the system will simply block such an operation. You need to definitely go to a bank branch and make a transfer through the cashier, and if it exceeds your daily limit, you need to pay an additional percentage.

About transfers from a credit card

We are often asked: is it possible to transfer money from a credit card to a debit card? No, bank clients do not have this option, only if they use third-party intermediary services, for example, Yandex wallet.

The scheme is as follows:

  1. You're turning on
  2. Link your card to it,
  3. In your Sberbank Online Personal Account you also link cards to an electronic wallet,
  4. You pay for Yandex services,
  5. Withdraw money from your wallet in a way convenient for you.

If you don’t want to use the Yandex system, you can order a bank card from your mobile operator, which will be “linked” to your phone number. You top up your phone and thereby transfer money to an account from which money can be withdrawn.

Every year the number of money transfers across Russia increases, and they become more accessible. With the help of transfers, people pay for large purchases, loans, trips, training, etc. The geography of translation systems is expanding significantly, and tariffs are decreasing. In the current situation, it is sometimes difficult to choose a method of transferring money or a payment system that would be the most profitable, reliable, and make it possible to send money quickly and make transfers with a minimum commission V 2018.

In fact, there are quite a few ways to transfer money in Russia, but to find the cheapest and most convenient one, it is better to consider the main ones.

Types of money transfers

Postal transfer. This type is one of the oldest money transfers. To do this, you just need to have your passport with you.

At the post office you can transfer money using the CyberMoney service with a commission of 1-5%. A one-time payment for the transfer is also added to this amount. It should be noted that the larger the transfer amount, the lower the interest rate, but the higher the one-time payment. For example, for 1000 rubles you need to pay 40 rubles and 5% of the transfer amount. For a transfer from 5,000 to 20,000 - 100 rubles and 2% of the amount.

The big advantage of the CyberMoney transfer is that it is available to all residents of the country and can be received and sent from the most remote corners Russian Federation. The downside is that the transfer can take up to 10 days.

Russian Post also provides urgent transfer services “Forsazh”, which can be received within 24 hours. The commission here is 1.7 -10%. In addition, the service is available only to residents of large settlements.

Bank transfers from account to account. This transfer is also one of the oldest types of money transfers. But in order to implement it it is necessary:

  • so that the recipient has his own account;
  • that the account be opened in the same bank as the sender (otherwise the commission may be very high).

In addition, you must have documents: passports, applications.

Even when transferring from one bank account to another, the tariffs are 1.5-2%. The transfer speed also leaves much to be desired: funds arrive in 1-3 days.

Transfer from card to card. Such a transfer is most profitable, provided that it is made to a card of the same bank. Many banks provide this service without commission. Sberbank clients, for example, can transfer funds without commission to the water city. If you need to send money to another city, the commission will be 1%.

But in any bank the commission for transferring from card to card will be no more than 3%. Money arrives instantly and can be transferred through an ATM at any time of the day. The only downside is restrictions on the volume of transfers.

Transfer through payment systems. Express transfers, which can be made at special service branches, banks and even via the Internet, are becoming increasingly popular. The most popular services in Russia are UNIStream Western Union, MoneyGram, Аnelik and some others. You can receive money within a few minutes after departure by presenting your passport. The average commission ranges from 1-2.5%.

The advantages of such a transfer are, first of all, that it can be done without leaving your home, the transfers arrive instantly. These include WebMoney, YandexMoney, Qiwi and some others. The sender simply transfers funds from one wallet to another, paying a certain percentage for this. The downside is that in order for the user to receive cash, virtual money will have to be cashed out, which will take some time and a certain amount. On average, you need to pay 3-4% of the transfer for the service.

Transfers in cryptocurrency are becoming increasingly popular in Russia.

How to profitably transfer money in 2018 through international payment systems

Let's not dwell on postal transfers or transfers from account to account. They have been in use for a long time, and everyone knows how to carry out operations. As for the possibilities of transferring through payment systems, they are different, and it is worth getting to know them better, especially since many of them allow you to transfers with low commission. Therefore, we will consider those services that are most popular in Russia today.

Transfers to the Russian Federation, the benefits of transferring money in 2018

If we consider the available opportunities for transferring money and decide how it is more profitable to transfer a certain amount, it is worth focusing on 3 components: speed, tariff and convenience when transferring a payment.

Some transfers take up to several days, for example postal or bank transfers from account to account. A completely different picture is observed with express transfers through international payment systems. Money can arrive instantly or within a few minutes, and the commission for the service is low. However, if there are post offices and Sberbank branches in almost every locality, then not every resident of the Russian Federation has the opportunity to transfer money through payment systems. Although many payment systems today have partners. For example, " Gold Crown» allows you to do translation in the Beeline, MTS, Svyaznoy, Euroset networks.

If it is not possible to transfer cash through payment systems, then you can use the “Hummingbird” urgent transfer. It is accessible to everyone, especially since you can transfer not only rubles, but also dollars and euros. The service will not take much time and you will only need a passport.

It is very profitable to transfer money from card to card, especially if the cards are from the same bank. In this case, many banks do not charge a commission. In Russia this is practically the only way transfer money without commission in 2018. When transferring to a card from another bank, the tariff will be 2% of the transfer amount. The operation can be carried out at any time of the day via an ATM or the Internet.

The fastest transfer with minimal commission

In Russia, it is best to use the Western Union system. It has 3 advantages at once.

  1. Speed. The transfer arrives in a matter of minutes. The person to whom the money is sent can receive it almost immediately.
  2. Low commission. It is 0.9%, but cannot be less than 100 and more than 900 rubles.
  3. Availability. The system has been operating in Russia since 1991 and cooperates with MDM, Prominvestbank, Absolut, Vyatka Bank, Omsk Bank and some others. To find the nearest branch, just go to the page and click on the branch search. In total, there are now about 14,000 service points in Russia, many of which have a 24-hour operating schedule. To receive a transfer, you need to provide a passport and a control code, which will be provided by the sender.

Russian Post also cooperates with Western Union, but transfers, as a rule, are sent to foreign countries or to remote corners of the Russian Federation.

The most expensive ways to transfer money

One of the most expensive methods of transferring money is transfer through Russian Post. The commission for urgent “Forsazh” transfers here can reach up to 10%. If you send funds using the CyberMoney system, then with relatively small interest rates, the one-time payment that is added to them can reach up to 535 rubles. For example, for a transfer of 10,000 rubles you will need to pay 435 rubles.

It is not profitable to transfer money from the account mobile phone, since the commission in this case can be about 8%.

How to make a transfer via the Internet with a low commission

Very simple and at the same time convenient way– sending money through an online bank; all you need is a computer, smartphone or tablet. The translation will take only 2-3 minutes. Online services, as a rule, are quite simple and transferring money through them is not difficult. You will only need to log into the site (in some cases and in Personal Area) enter the country to which the transfer will be sent, city, and recipient details.

Can be used:

  • classic translation, when you need to enter all account details,
  • transfer from card to card.

It is worth considering that when transferring to a card from another bank, the money will arrive in the recipient’s account within 24 hours, and you will need to pay a certain percentage for the transfer. But, as a rule, a smaller percentage is charged for the operation than when transferring and withdrawing money from Webmoney, Qiwi, etc. Some payment systems run promotions. Thus, Unistream does not charge interest for services from MasterCard and Visa users.

Cryptocurrency transfers

Along with other money transfer systems, transfers in cryptocurrency should also be considered. Especially in the cryptocurrency of Russian origin - RUCOIN, as there are transfer opportunities with low commissions. While Bitcoin transaction fees have increased significantly in 2017, the fee for any transaction in RUCOIN is only 0.1%! You can transfer money instantly. At the same time, the cryptoruble is not subject to state control and has no intermediary organizations.

Transfers made through Sberbank may be subject to a commission. The size of the commission may depend on many factors. Let's take a closer look at what the commission depends on and what percentage you will have to pay.

What does Sberbank’s commission for transferring money depend on?

The commission may depend on many factors. First of all, this is, of course, the sending range of the money transfer. Thus, a transfer to another country will cost much more than a transfer to a neighboring city.

Also, the cost of translation may be affected by the method of its implementation. Whether it is an operation through remote self-service tools, or a bank cash desk. Cash or non-cash shipments.

Money transfer fee

The Bank does not provide a single commission for making money transfers. Therefore, each one should be considered possible variant performing a money transfer operation. Therefore, next we will consider methods such as:

  • Non-cash transfers;
  • Cash transfers;
  • Transfer to another region;
  • Transfer to another country.

Non-cash transfers

The fee for a non-cash transfer may depend on the method of transferring money. So the option of transferring from one bank account to another or to a card can be selected. Depending on the direction of the transfer, the following types of commission are established:

  • To the account of a Sberbank client within one city - 0%;
  • To the account of a Sberbank client in another city:

o Through bank branches - 1.5% (not less than 30 rubles and not more than 1000 rubles);

o Through remote self-service services - 1% (no more than 1000 rubles);

  • Transfer from card to card by card number:

o Sberbank client within the city - 0%;

o Sberbank client outside the city - 1% (no more than 1000 rubles);

o For a client of another bank - 1.5% (at least 30 rubles).

Cash transfers

There are two types of cash transfers available. One of them is regular translation. Moreover, such a shipment can be sent either to a card or bank account, or for receipt in cash. And commission accruals will look like this:

  • The addressee will receive cash - 1.75% (not less than 50 rubles, not more than 2000 rubles);
  • The transfer will be credited to the Sberbank client’s bank account:

o In the same city - 0%;

o In another city - 1.75% (but not less than 50 rubles and not more than 2000);

  • Crediting funds to a client's account of another bank - 2% (not less than 50 rubles and not more than 2000 rubles);
  • To a Sberbank client card - 1.25% (from 30 rubles to 1000);
  • To a client's card of another bank - the service is not provided;
  • Urgent transfer “Hummingbird” - 1.5% (not less than 150 rubles and not more than 1000 rubles).

Transfer to another region

Transferring amounts to another region can also be done in two ways. Both cash and non-cash transfers can be used here. The commission will be the same as when making a transfer to another city. Or a single one, as for transfers by card number or through the “Hummingbird” transfer.

Transfer to another country

You can send money abroad either by cash or by bank transfer to the recipient’s account. If you need to send cash, you will need to choose between 3 types of transfers. These include:

  • Urgent international translation “Hummingbird”;
  • Urgent international MoneyGram transfer;
  • International cash transfer.

When choosing “Hummingbird”, regardless of the recipient’s country, you will need to pay a commission of 1% for the transaction. In this case, an upper and lower threshold for the commission fee is established. So, the minimum amount to pay is 150 rubles, 5 dollars or 5 euros. And the maximum threshold is set within 3000 rubles, 100 dollars and 100 euros.

When transferring money abroad using the MoneyGram system, the commission will depend on the recipient’s country, as well as on the amount of the transfer performed. Thus, when sending money to the CIS countries, Georgia or Israel, the commission will be from $2 to $90. And when transferring money to foreign countries, the additional payment for the operation can range from $12 to $300. For transfers to China, cost limits are set transfers from 9 dollars to 80 dollars.

The fee for an International Cash Transfer will depend on the currency used for sending. So, if an amount is sent in rubles, then the commission will be 2%, but in the range from 50 rubles to 2000 rubles. And when transferring amounts in another currency, the commission will be equal to 1%, but not less than $15 and not more than $200.

Sberbank also provides a non-cash international transfer service. With this option, the money will be credited to the addressee's account. And the commission will be 2%, but not less than 50 rubles and not more than 1500 rubles if the amount is sent in rubles. And 1%, but not less than $15 and not more than $200, if funds are sent in a different currency.

Transfer speed

Depending on the chosen method of sending the amount, the speed at which the recipient receives the money may vary. Thus, non-cash transfers within Russia will reach the owner within 2 days. And when transferring cash using a regular transfer, you can expect that the recipient will receive the money within 2 days if the amount is issued in cash, and within 1 day if the cash amount is credited to the client’s account.

The difference between the “Hummingbird” translation is that this translation is urgent. This means that the recipient will not have to wait for a long time. He can receive the money in 10 minutes.

As for international shipments, there are also specific deadlines. Thus, when sending money via the Kolibri system, the transfer can be received within an hour. The execution time for a MoneyGram transfer is even shorter. Such a transfer can be received in 10 minutes.

An international cash transfer will reach the recipient within 1 business day if the money is credited to his account. And within 2 business days if the amount is paid in cash. But a non-cash international transfer is completed within 2 days.

Factors affecting the speed of money transfer

The speed of transferring funds, in addition to the selected transfer option, can be influenced by many factors. So, for example, when transferring money to an account or card of a third-party bank, the speed of transfer may depend on the recipient’s bank. Interbank transfers are currently not processed as quickly. This means that delays may occur.

Also, the speed at which the recipient receives money may be affected by the time the money was sent or even the day. If the amount was sent late in the evening, then it is likely that the application will be accepted for execution only the next day. And sending money on weekends or holidays, or on the eve of such days, the application for the transfer of funds may not be processed immediately, but only after such days. After all, not all transfers can be performed on non-working days.

In what case is no commission charged?

Everyone wants to save money and avoid paying commissions. And there is such a possibility. So, you won’t have to pay for the operation if you make a transfer between your accounts and cards opened with Sberbank. And also in the event that funds are sent to a Sberbank client account or card within the same city.

What is the commission for transferring from Sberbank to VTB?

Transfer from Sberbank to VTB is interbank. The size of the commission here will depend on the selected method of transferring funds. So, if funds are debited from a Sberbank card and transferred to a VTB card using the card number, then the commission for such a transfer will be set as a percentage and will be 1.5% of the amount, but not less than 30 rubles.

But if the transfer is carried out using the VTB client account number, then the commission fee will be 2% (minimum 50 rubles, maximum 1500 rubles) if the operation is carried out through a bank branch and 1% (but not more than 1000 rubles) if money is transferred through the Internet banking system.

Commission for transfer to Yandex

Sberbank card holders can transfer money to a Yandex.Money wallet. Moreover, such a transfer is performed without charging any commissions. But it can only be done through remote self-service services, which include:

  • Sberbank Online;
  • ATMs;
  • Terminals.

Limits and restrictions

For transfers made within Russia, limits are set only for transactions performed through online banking. Thus, using remote services, you can transfer up to 500,000 rubles to the accounts of bank clients, as well as the accounts of clients of other banks. But amounts over 80,000 rubles will require confirmation at the contact center. And if the payment is made using the card number using the MasterCardMoneysend and VisaMoneyTransfer systems to bank cards of clients of third-party banks, then the maximum amount will be limited to 30,000 rubles.

There are also restrictions for urgent translation“Hummingbird”, performed throughout Russia. Using this method of sending money, you can send an amount not exceeding 500,000 rubles. Amounts exceeding the established limit will not be accepted for execution using this method.

Among international transfers, only non-cash international transfers have no restrictions. In other cases, your own limits are set. Thus, urgent international transfers “Kolibri” and MoneyGram are limited to the amount of $5,000 for residents and $10,000 for non-residents. And a regular international cash transfer limits transfers to residents only. The maximum amount that can be sent this way is $5,000.
