Is it worth buying a home near power lines? Distance from overhead power lines, power transmission poles to a house, residential buildings, road, gas pipeline. Does a high-voltage line affect human health?

What should be the safe distance from power lines to residential buildings? To give a comprehensive answer to this question, we will analyze the reasons for the danger that power lines pose.

Electricity has become an integral part of our lives, and we can no longer imagine our existence without household electrical appliances, cell phones and familiar gadgets, and yet all of them are fraught with hidden danger.

Why is current dangerous?

The main danger, it turns out, is electromagnetic radiation, which comes from all electrical appliances and spreads over a long distance around. Only as you move away from the source does its indicator slowly fade. Differs in frequency ranges and is characterized by wavelength: radio waves, infrared and ultraviolet radiation, visible and x-ray radiation and, finally, gamma radiation. Their daily influence on humans is not safe.

Methods scientific research Scientists were able to determine the effect of these fields on the concentration of ions in the cells of the body. A pathological change in this value is fraught with metabolic disorders. Refrigerator, TV, electric hood, built-in hob electrical panel, air conditioning, washing machine, microwave oven - this is an incomplete list of secret spiteful critics. And yet, electromagnetic radiation from household electrical appliances is not so great, since it is determined by the power of the radiation source and the duration of exposure.

Let's take a look at the wires and cables stretched between power line supports. Caution: They are all high voltage. It is voltage that ensures the transmission and transportation of electricity from the source to the consumer, more clearly: from the power plant - to our houses and apartments. The power line voltage scale looks like this: 0.4; 10; 35; 110; 220; 380; then there are 500 kV and 750 kV, finishing with 1150 kV.

Power lines are a source of powerful electromagnetic radiation, and in addition to voltage, it depends on the length of the power line.

The influence of power lines on the body

Electromagnetic radiation leads to the following processes in the body:

  • heart rate increases, blood pressure rises;
  • the number of leukocytes in the blood is growing rapidly;
  • irreversible changes occur in the body at the cellular level;
  • metabolism is disrupted.

What are we focusing on?

Above we have given hazardous factors the influence of these ill-fated waves. It is on these that, first of all, those who create all kinds of standards rely, so that the lives of the citizens of our country are long and happy.

IN in this case, the standards that interest us are set out in a document with a long but serious title: “Sanitary standards and rules for protecting the population from the effects of the electric field created by industrial-frequency AC overhead power lines.”

Everything is very clear. Neither subtract nor add. Further, when viewing, the gaze accidentally rests on the main face of these provisions, which approved them. We read: Deputy Chief State Doctor of the USSR. The regulation dated February 28, 1984, approved under number No. 2971-84. Inspires confidence.

What does the standard say?

The document defines the standard: what distance from power lines is safe for the construction of residential buildings and living.

Important! According to the above document, the creation of sanitary protection zones is prescribed along all high-voltage power lines. Their size is determined by the network voltage class.

The safe distance is determined by the electric field strength, normally 1 sq/m. The greater the power of the power line, the greater the distance from it should be. This also takes into account the possibility of normal maintenance of high-voltage lines. You cannot build fences, install garages, plant big trees neither next to, nor behind, nor around the support. The sanitary protection zone must be strictly observed. For precise definition The boundaries of this zone are conventionally accepted as a projection onto the ground of the outer phase wires of the high-voltage line support in the direction perpendicular to the overhead line itself.

Table No. 1. Sanitary zones of power lines according to SN No. 2971-84

Let's continue the table: for 1150 kV, the safe distance is determined to be 55 meters.

The width of the right of way is determined by multiplying the indicators in meters given in the table by 2.

Many people are interested in the question of how to visually determine the network voltage. There are several secrets: you need to pay attention to the number of wires and cables in a bundle of one phase or to the number of insulators installed on the support. One insulator is designed on average for 15 kV, which means that for a 35 kV line there are 3-5 insulators (depending on the type), for 110 - 6-8, and for 220 - 15. In lines more high voltage: 2 wires in a bundle of one phase - a 380 kV line above you; if 3 - 500 kV; 4 - 750.

Walkthrough air lines on the territory of children's and educational institutions, in stadiums, over residential buildings is not allowed. It is allowed only for the inputs of residential buildings, and the average distance from the wires themselves to the ground in a populated area is determined by the value of 7 m. The standard also determines the maximum permissible level of electric field strength inside residential buildings. This value is 0.5 kV/m and no more than 1 sq/m in the building area. All given distances are, in principle, safe for humans, but do not provide complete protection from harmful influences electromagnetic field.

Additional protection measures

Methods of protection against radiative effects of power lines include:

  • shielding devices;
  • roof made of metal tiles or profiled galvanized sheet, which must certainly be grounded;
  • reinforcement mesh placed between the walls, therefore reinforced concrete walls are most effective in buildings.

Citizens’ fears are quite justified, since the main threat electric current, voltage or electromagnetic radiation is that they are not visible.

Important! To calculate a safe distance that guarantees protection not only from electric field strength, but also from the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation, you need to multiply the indicator from table No. 1 by 10! According to calculations, it turns out that a 220 kV power line will not have its insidious effect on you if you live no closer than 250 meters from it.

When laying cables hidden underground, this distance is reduced significantly. The cost of underground power lines is much higher than overhead power lines, and therefore they are less popular, but the country's energy sector is constantly searching for new effective, environmental and economically sound solutions. In the meantime... cities and villages are intertwined with an electric “web”, and we understand: our salvation lies in protecting ourselves. Follow our advice and be healthy!

Our enterprise LLC "Skhid-budkonstruktsiya", Ukraine, is engaged in the production of various metal products, traverse for reinforced concrete supports power lines, metal structures steel supports Power lines.

During operation, power lines create electric and magnetic fields of industrial frequency in the adjacent space. The distance over which electromagnetic fields propagate from line wires reaches tens of meters. The range of propagation of the electromagnetic field depends on the voltage level of the power line (the number indicating the voltage class is in the name of the power line - for example, a 220 kV power line), the higher the voltage, the larger the zone of increased level of the electromagnetic field, while the size of the zone does not change during the operation of the power line.

The propagation range of the magnetic field of a power line depends on the magnitude of the flowing current or on the line load. Since the load on power lines can change repeatedly both during the day and with changing seasons, the size of the zone of increased electromagnetic field levels also changes.

Impact of power lines on human health

Electromagnetic fields of power lines are very strong factors influencing the state of all biological objects falling within the zone of their influence. For example, in the zone of greatest influence of the electric field, near high-voltage power line supports and power line traverses, insects show changes in behavior: for example, bees show increased aggressiveness, anxiety, decreased performance and productivity, and a tendency to lose queens; Beetles, mosquitoes, butterflies and other flying insects exhibit changes in behavioral responses, including a change in the direction of movement towards a lower field level. Plants often develop developmental anomalies - the shapes and sizes of flowers, leaves, stems change, and extra petals appear.

A specific feature of the operation of power lines is associated with the effect on environment a complex of biological factors of electromagnetic nature, including:

Variable electromagnetic potential on the wire;

Electrical leakage currents;

Electrical grounding currents in the soil;

Corona discharge;

Ionizing radiation;

Under the power lines, which extend for many hundreds of kilometers, a large amount of land is allocated, called a “right-of-way.”

The influence of the electromagnetic field on the human body

The human body is affected by prolonged stay in the area of power lines. Short-term irradiation of a few minutes can only affect hypersensitive people or those with certain types of allergies. For example, the work of English scientists in the early 90s is well known, showing that a number of allergy sufferers, when exposed to the electromagnetic field of power lines, develop an epileptic-type reaction in the body. With a long stay (months - years) of a person in the electromagnetic field of power lines, diseases can develop, mainly of the cardiovascular and nervous systems of the human body. IN last years Among the long-term consequences, human cancer is often mentioned.

The electric field of a power line has the greatest influence on a person wearing shoes that insulate him from the ground. In this case, a potential is induced on a conducting human body isolated from the ground, depending on the ratio of the body’s capacitance to the ground and to the power line wires. The smaller the capacitance to ground (the thicker, for example, the sole of a shoe), the greater the induced potential, which can be several kilovolts and even reach 10 kV.

Based design features power transmission lines (sagging wires) the greatest influence of the electromagnetic field on a person is manifested in the middle of the span, where the tension for super- and ultra-high voltage lines at the level of human height is 5 - 20 kV/m and higher, depending on the voltage class and line design.

At power transmission line supports, where the height of the wires is greatest and the shielding effect of the supports is felt, the field strength is the lowest. Since there may be people, animals, and vehicles under the power line wires, there is a need to assess possible consequences long and short-term stay of people in the area of power lines, in electric field of various tensions.

In experiments conducted by many researchers, a clear threshold value of the electromagnetic field strength of power lines was discovered, at which a dramatic change in the reaction of the human body occurs. The value is determined to be 160 kV/m; a lower electromagnetic field strength does not cause any noticeable harm to humans.

The electromagnetic field strength in the areas of 750 kV power transmission line supports at human height is approximately 5-6 times less than dangerous values. The adverse effects of an industrial frequency electric field on the human body serving power transmission line supports and outdoor switchgear substations with voltages of 500 kV and higher have been identified; at voltages of 380 and 220 kV this effect is weakly expressed. But at all voltages the field action high frequency on the human body depends on the duration of stay in it.

Based on the research carried out, sanitary standards and rules have been developed, which indicate the minimum permissible distances for the location of residential buildings from stationary emitting objects, such as power line supports. These standards also provide for the maximum permissible (limit) levels of electromagnetic radiation for other energy-hazardous objects. In some cases, bulky metal screens in the form of sheets, nets and other devices are used to protect people.

Sanitary standards for power lines

Studies of the influence of electromagnetic fields of industrial frequency (EMF IF) on humans, carried out in the USSR in the 60-70s, focused mainly on the effect of the electrical component, since no significant effect of the magnetic component was experimentally detected. In the 70s, strict standards were introduced for the population on EP FC, which are still among the most stringent in the world. They are set out in the Sanitary Standards and Rules “Protection of the population from the effects of the electric field created by overhead power lines of alternating current of industrial frequency” No. 2971-84. In accordance with these sanitary standards, all electrical supply facilities are designed and built.

However, at present, numerous studies by scientists in various countries have shown that weak electromagnetic fields (EMF), the power of which is measured in thousandths of a watt, are no less dangerous for humans, and in some cases more dangerous, than electromagnetic radiation from high-power power lines. Scientists explain this by saying that the intensity of weak electromagnetic fields is commensurate with the intensity of the radiation itself. human body, its internal energy, which is formed as a result of the functioning of all systems and organs, including the cellular level. Electron radiation is characterized by such low (non-thermal) intensities. household appliances available in every home today. These are mainly computers, televisions, Cell phones, microwave ovens, etc. They are also sources of so-called harmful substances for humans. man-made EMR, which have the property of accumulating in the human body, thereby disturbing its bioenergetic balance, and, first of all, the so-called. energy information exchange (ENIO). And this, in turn, affects the normal functioning of the main systems of the human body. Numerous studies in the field of the influence of electromagnetic fields on humans have determined that electromagnetic fields have the greatest influence on the nervous, immune, endocrine and reproductive system body. EMF irradiation under conditions of prolonged long-term exposure to a person can lead to the development of long-term consequences for the body, including degenerative processes of the human central nervous system, blood cancer (leukemia), brain tumors, hormonal diseases, etc.

Today it is no secret that the magnetic field is considered the most dangerous to human health, but the maximum permissible value of the magnetic field for the population in Russia and Ukraine is not standardized. There is only one reason - there is no money for research and development of standards. Most of the power transmission line routes in Ukraine were built without taking this danger into account.

Based on mass epidemiological surveys of the population living in conditions of irradiation by magnetic fields of power lines, a magnetic induction flux density of 0.2 - 0.3 µT.

Protection of humans from electromagnetic fields of power lines

The basic principle of protecting human health from the electromagnetic field of power lines is to establish sanitary protection zones for power lines and reduce the electric field strength in residential buildings and in places where people may stay for a long time by using protective screens.

According to the standards, a person’s stay without protective equipment in an electric field with a voltage of up to 5 kV/m inclusive can be as long as desired. For a 500 kV transmission line, a field strength of 5 kV/m is achieved under wires located at a height of less than 15 m from the ground surface, and a field strength of 10 kV/m is achieved under wires located at a height of less than 8 m.

Under lines in hard-to-reach areas (for example, swamps, mountain slopes), an electric field strength of 20 kV/m is allowed; for uninhabited areas - 15 kV/m, at intersections with roads - 10 kV/m and for populated areas where people may often be under the lines - 5 kV/m. In addition, the permissible voltage at the boundaries of residential buildings is standardized - 1.5 kV/m, while a person’s stay is allowed throughout his life. It should be noted that the indicated field strength values are determined at the level of a person’s head (1.8 m above the ground).

The boundaries of sanitary protection zones for power transmission lines on existing lines are determined by the criterion of electric field strength - 1 kV/m.

For overhead high-voltage power lines (OHVs), sanitary protection zones of power lines are installed on both sides of the projection of the outermost wires of the overhead lines onto the ground. These zones determine the minimum distances to the nearest residential, industrial and non-industrial buildings and structures.

Sanitary zones of power lines according to SN No. 2971-84

Voltage

Sanitary size

(security) zone

2 m 10 m 15 m 20 m 25 m 30 m 40 m

The placement of ultra-high voltage overhead line supports (750 and 1150 kV) is subject to additional requirements regarding the conditions of exposure to an electric field on a person. Thus, the closest distance from the axis of the designed routes of 750 and 1150 kV overhead power lines to the boundaries of populated areas should, as a rule, be at least 250 and 300 m, respectively.

How to determine the voltage of a power transmission line support? It is best to contact your local energy company, but you can try visually, although this is difficult for a non-specialist:

330 kV - 2 wires on the crossarms of power transmission line supports, 500 kV - 3 wires on the crossarms of power transmission lines, 750 kV - 4 wires. Below 330 kV, one wire per phase, can only be determined approximately by the number of insulators in the garland: 220 kV 10 -15 pcs., 110 kV 6-8 pcs., 35 kV 3-5 pcs., 10 kV and below - 1 pc. .

Permissible levels of exposure to electric fields

MPL, kV/m Electric field irradiation conditions
0,5 inside residential buildings
1,0 on the territory of a residential development zone
5,0 in populated areas outside of residential areas; (land of cities within
city limits within the boundaries of their long-term development for 10 years, suburban and
green areas, resorts, lands of urban-type settlements within the village
features and rural settlements within the boundaries of these settlements) as well as on
areas of vegetable gardens and orchards;
10,0 at the intersection of overhead power lines with automobile
roads of categories 1 – IV;
15,0 in uninhabited areas (undeveloped areas, although often
visited by people, accessible by transport, and agricultural
land);
20,0 in hard-to-reach areas (inaccessible to transport and
agricultural machinery) and in areas specially fenced off for
exclusion of public access.

Within the sanitary protection zone of overhead lines it is prohibited:

  • build residential and public buildings and structures;
  • arrange parking areas for all types of transport;
  • locate automobile servicing enterprises and oil and petroleum products warehouses;
  • carry out operations with fuel, repair machines and mechanisms;
  • carry out all kinds of mining, blasting, reclamation work, plant trees, water crops;
  • block the entrances and approaches to overhead line supports;
  • arrange sports grounds, stadiums, transport stops, and hold any events involving large crowds of people.

Carrying out the necessary measures in the security zone of power lines can only be carried out upon receipt written permission for the performance of work from the enterprise (organization) in charge of these networks. The use of territories located in the power transmission line zone is regulated by the new Rules for establishing security zones of electric grid facilities and special conditions use of land plots located within the boundaries of such zones.

The territories of sanitary zones of power lines are allowed to be used as agricultural land, but it is recommended to grow crops on them that do not require manual labor person.
If in some areas the electric field strength outside the sanitary protection zone is higher than the maximum permissible 0.5 kV/m inside the building and higher than 1 kV/m in the residential area (in places where people may be present), they must measures should be taken to reduce tensions. To do this, practically any metal mesh, grounded at at least two points, is placed on the roof of a building with a non-metal roof. In buildings with metal roof It is enough to ground the roof at at least two points. On personal plots or other places where people are present, the power frequency field strength can be reduced by installing protective screens, for example reinforced concrete ones, metal fences, cable screens, trees or shrubs at least 2 m high.

Dangerous radiation from power lines was noticed at the end of the last century. SanPiN standards have been developed, which calculate the minimum safe distance from power lines to a residential building, depending on the size of the voltage in the network. Based on this distance, sanitary zones for power lines were created under high-voltage power lines and the concept of a “burden zone” was introduced - land dangerously close to radiation harmful to health. The sale of residential buildings and plots for individual housing construction and SNT in the sanitary zone of power lines is prohibited.

Near residential buildings

Distance from power lines and magnetic radiation

When electrons pass through wires, they create an electromagnetic field around their carrier. Depending on the type of current, the radiation value is constant or variable. A continuous change in the current value from plus to minus and vice versa causes the field to change its value 2 times more often.

Exposure to magnetic radiation negatively affects a person’s physical condition, just like exposure to radiation.

Research on the effects of electromagnetic radiation on humans and wildlife began to be carried out at the end of the 70s. According to the results of a survey of people in different countries WHO - The World Health Organization has determined the maximum permissible radiation levels in hertz per unit of time. In the Russian Federation and other countries, regulations, prohibiting industrial and civil Engineering on close range from power lines.

Secured territory

In people, long time located in the strong field zone, cancer and heart disease were detected. Women suffered from infertility. Men were plagued by pathologies of the genitourinary system. General weakness appeared. Life expectancy was reduced.

Cheap land near the protected zone

Based on SanPiN standards, construction rules were developed and sanitary zones were created under high-voltage lines. Children's institutions located in the danger zone must be closed. It is prohibited to build residential buildings for permanent and temporary residence closer than the distance indicated to high-voltage lines in SanPiN 2971-84.

Sell a house located in danger zone, impossible. Sanitary and fire fighting organizations such a document will not be approved. When developing individual housing construction sites, it is necessary to take into account the distance to the power lines located nearby.

Electromagnetic wave propagation diagram

How dangerous the radiation from high-voltage lines is is demonstrated by land prices. The cost of plots near power lines is low. As you move away, it rises every 50 m. You shouldn’t be tempted by the cheapness. You need to think about the health of your family.

Width of sanitary zone

The safe distance from power lines is measured perpendicular to the axis of the overhead line - the high-voltage line. The projection of the outermost wire onto the ground or the outer point of the support structure is taken as the starting point. Width sanitary zone depends on the voltage in the wires and is determined by SanPiN 2971-84. Background radiation is measured at a level of 1 meter above the soil.

You cannot build, plant or stay in the sanitary zone for a long time. Land under power lines is prohibited from being sold or used for commercial purposes.

Standards and distances

Safe distance to power lines

The width of the sanitary zone does not meet the safe distance standards for housing construction. It is almost 2 times smaller, it is measured not from the outermost wires of the overhead line, but is indicated by one value centered on the axis of the power line. For example, the width of the sanitary zone of a 220 kV line is 25 m. This is approximately 10 m from the support post in one direction. You can build next to power lines no closer than 25 m to the projection of the outermost wire onto the ground.

In the countryside

Below is the safe distance from the house to the power line depending on the voltage in the line:

  • 20 kV - 10 meters;
  • 35 kV - 15 meters;
  • 110 kV - 20 meters;
  • 150-220 kV - 25 meters;
  • 300-500 kV - 30 meters;
  • 750 kV - 40 meters.

Health hazards from power lines

A voltage of 10 kV is considered safe for humans. It creates a background density not exceeding 10 μT - microtesla. For comparison, the Earth's magnetic field is 30–50 μT.

Standard support drawing

It differs from the radiation generated by overhead lines in that it has a constant or smoothly varying value. A current with a frequency of 50 Hz passes through the power line - this means that per second the current changes its direction 50 times, a complete oscillation occurs - an alternating current wave. The value of the emitted magnetic field also changes with this frequency.

The highest value of natural vibrations reaches 40 Hz. When constantly in the zone of magnetic waves with high values, malfunctions occur in the human body. This is possible not only when standing under power lines for a long time, but also next to household electrical appliances, especially thermal ones. The damage from the close proximity of overhead lines is commensurate with the harm to health caused by an iron, refrigerator, washing machine, computer.

Types of supports

In the European Union it is generally accepted that if the voltage in the power line wires is higher than 35 kV and the apartment is located closer than the standard interval security zone plus 20 m, then, according to the health standards of the United Europe, such a proximity can cause a number of diseases of the nervous, cardiovascular and immune systems.

The distance from power lines and possible harm to health in this case have a direct relationship. Construction of housing in the European Union is permitted at a distance of 20 meters from the sanitary protection zone, if we take its value from ours PUE standards. Russian standards for distance to residential buildings are described above.

Table of European standards.

The area for individual housing construction or dacha may be partially located closer to the high-voltage line than minimum distance to a residential building. IN technical passport this strip is indicated as the encumbrance zone. On this land you can plant a vegetable garden, a garden and put up a fence. You cannot build a house and construct outbuildings. A seating area in the yard should be located away from power lines.

Scheme for installing poles in SNT and individual housing construction according to the standards

How to determine power line voltage

When purchasing a plot, it is important to make sure that the distance to the overhead line - high-voltage line - is safe. Information about exactly what voltage is on a nearby power line is not always readily available. You can determine it yourself by the number of wires in the bundle and insulator disks near the pole.

One wire means that the consumer voltage is less than 330 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz.

A higher value can be determined by the number of wires in the cable bundle:

  • 1 PC. — up to 330 kV;
  • 2 pcs. — 330 kV;
  • 3 pcs. — 500 kV;
  • 4 things. — 750 kV;
  • 6-8 pcs. - from 1000 kV and more.

Table of distances and voltages

You should not count the number of cables stretched between the supports, but the wires in one bundle. Additionally, you can focus on where they are stretched: the higher they are located, the greater the tension in them.

For lines with one wire, the voltage is determined by the number of insulators - ceramic disks in one cluster hanging from the pole. Regulatory figures are given in the list:

  1. 3-5 insulators - 35 kV.
  2. 6-8 insulators - 110 kV.
  3. 15 insulators - 220 kV.

Voltage in residential areas

On the streets within residential areas, power lines have a voltage of 6–10 kV, which does not create radiation exceeding a value that is safe for humans. These wires are brought into houses, passing over the fences of the plots.

Distances from the fence to buildings on the site

Standards have also been developed for them safe use. According to SNiP, residential buildings and other buildings must be located no closer than 5 m from the red line. This is the front boundary of the site. All underground and overhead communications pass through it, including power lines. Only a wire connected directly to the building violates the safe distance.

The insulator on which the wire is attached externally must be located on the wall of the building at a height of 2.75 m or higher. The entrance to the house should not be located above or next to bedrooms, children's rooms and rooms where the family spends a lot of time. The best option– wall of a pantry, utility room, hallway.

Minimum SIP sag above pedestrian path is 3.5 m. The sag of the wire between the overhead line poles must be more than 6 m from the ground above the roadway.

In the private sector, the power line runs along one side of the street - the red line on the plan. The distance from the power line to a private residential building on individual housing construction land must strictly comply with the PUE standards. Wires to connect the house from the opposite side must only be pulled through additional supports. The height to the insulators exceeds 6.2 m. The minimum distance from power lines with a voltage of 6 kV is 2 meters horizontally.

How to protect yourself from electromagnetic radiation

As you move away from the power line, the magnetic radiation decreases. SanPiN indicates the distance when it reaches an acceptable value, but does not disappear completely. Experts say that a completely safe distance is 10 times the permissible distance.

In today's article we will try to answer very important question: (power line)? Indeed, many people are concerned about such a problem as closely located high-voltage power lines, and in some cases, power line supports and the wires themselves can hang over their heads.

How power lines affect human health

Surely you have ever had to pass under a power line, between high supports that firmly hold mighty wires, and most likely you have heard the characteristic crackling sound that accompanies the operation of equipment that transmits electricity over a long distance. And it was at this moment that a sensation of electricity came, a certain tingling sensation in the back of the head, as if the hair began to move on the head. Believe me, these sensations, albeit with some degree of imaginaryness, still have a specific physical effect, and even have a name familiar from school - electromagnetic radiation.

A little about the dangers of magnetism

Research conducted both abroad and in our country has proven that the magnetic field generated by power lines, due to the increased magnetic component, causes specific and proven harm to people living near them. This is about:

  • increased risk of blood disease (leukemia);
  • brain tumor formations;
  • an increase in the percentage of cases of sexual dysfunction (in men);
  • pregnancy disorders in women;
  • increased risks of heart attacks and strokes;
  • and etc.

How to protect yourself from the electromagnetic effects of power lines

So, How dangerous is it to live under power lines?? Unfortunately, we have to admit the fact that earlier, in Soviet times, during the construction of the residential sector, the harmful effects of magnetic radiation on humans were not taken into account; only the electrical components of the created field were calculated. But, as we see, in vain. However, not everything is as scary as it might seem, and we hasten to reassure you that only powerful power lines, which for the most part pass beyond the borders of residential areas, can have a lasting and harmful impact. If next to yours country house a weak power transmission line passes through with a line from 6 to 10 kW, and even if it’s up to 35 kW, then you don’t even have to worry about it. But if you choose a house, and 500 meters from it there is a gigantic power line mast, then be wise and don’t play with your health, buy better house in a safer place, this way you will also avoid the accidental fall of a support on your property.

In the 60s, specialists in Russia paid attention to the electromagnetic fields of power lines (PTLs). After long-term and in-depth studies of the health of people who have contact with power lines at work, the results of these studies showed that people who spent a long time in the electromagnetic field more often complained of weakness, irritability, fatigue, weakened memory and sleep disturbances.

Currently, there are many problems associated with long-term exposure to power lines on the nervous system, cardiovascular, immune and reproductive systems.

Power line(power line) is one of the components of the electrical network, a system of energy equipment designed to transmit electricity through electric current.

The wires of a working power line create electric and magnetic fields of industrial frequency in the adjacent space. The distance over which these fields extend from the line wires reaches tens of meters.

Within the sanitary protection zone of power lines it is prohibited:

    place residential and public buildings and structures;

    arrange parking areas for all types of transport;

    locate automobile servicing enterprises and oil and petroleum products warehouses;

    carry out operations with fuel, repair machines and mechanisms.

And now what happens in reality:

One of the most powerful exciters of electromagnetic waves is industrial frequency currents (50 Hz). Thus, the electric field strength directly under the power line can reach several thousand volts per meter soil, although due to the property of reducing soil tension, even when moving 100 m from the line, the tension sharply drops to several tens of volts per meter.

Studies on the biological effects of electric fields have found that already at a voltage of 1 kV/m it has an adverse effect on the human nervous system, which in turn leads to disruption of the endocrine system and metabolism in the body (copper, zinc, iron and cobalt), disrupts physiological functions: heart rate, blood pressure, brain activity, metabolic processes and immune activity.

As for electricians and other power line workers, the situation is even worse.

Power line personnel experienced visual impairment, changes in color perception, narrowing of visual fields in green, red, and especially blue color, vascular changes in the retina. Studies have been conducted of professionals working 8 hours a day in contact with AMY. Some reported decreased sex drive, a tendency toward depression, and irritability. There was a decreased number of lymphocytes in the blood.

Look what happens to the biofield of a person living near power lines:

Human biofield– this is its electromagnetic field, that is, the totality of radiation from every cell of our body. In fact, any object on Earth, any living organism, has it.

Our electromagnetic field was formed under the influence of the Earth's electromagnetic field. And since today’s electromagnetic background is tens of thousands of times higher than natural, our field cannot withstand such an onslaught.

If our electromagnetic field begins to be affected by other sources of radiation, much more powerful than the radiation of our body, then chaos begins in the body. This leads to a dramatic deterioration in health.

From an energetic point of view, the biofield performs protective function. It is also called aura. In fact, this is the first protective barrier.

Data:

One of the largest studies of this issue took place in England and Wales from 1962 to 1995.

Medical records of more than 29 thousand children under 15 years of age were reviewed

It turned out that the risk of leukemia in children who lived from birth at a distance of up to 200 meters from power lines is 70%, and from 200 to 600 m – 20%.

Statistics have shown that power lines have a significant negative impact.

"Our study shows that approximately 5 in 400 cases of childhood leukemia can be associated with high-volume lineages, representing about 1% of cases," said Gerald Draper, leader of the research team at the University of Oxford.

The works of Anisimov V.N. provide facts from Swedish scientists:

They analyzed information about the incidence of cancer among people living in close proximity to high-voltage power lines (at a distance less than 300 m).

In a group of 400 thousand. man was discovered 142 children With various types malignant neoplasms and 548 adults with a brain tumor or leukemia.

An examination was also carried out to determine the reproductive function of 542 workers substations Power lines. This analysis allowed us to identify pathologies such as:
1) an increase in the number of congenital deformities if the father worked at a power plant;
2) decreased fertilization function among some male workers
3) The birth rate of boys has decreased.

Was also examined group of youth under 18 years old, living within 150 m from substations, transformers, subways, power lines railways and power lines. They were twice as likely to have nervous system disorders and leukemia.

In Denmark, 1,707 children under 16 years of age were examined during the period. Due to living near power lines, some developed brain tumors and leukemia.

Protection from electromagnetic fields of power lines:

So what should we do??

We understand that if a power line is built near your house, you cannot move it. And not everyone can afford to move today.

And even if you don’t live near power lines, then, believe me, they make a very good contribution to the overall electromagnetic background of the city in which you live.

Already exists today reliable protection from electromagnetic fields and their torsion component.

This must be done because the situation concerns your health and the health of your entire family. Especially if you are young and just planning it, or you have small children.
