After 10 days I did hCG, it was zero, so this analysis is the only reliable one. IUI was unsuccessful twice, although everything was fine with ovulation - so the drug is excellent in this regard, it’s just that the method itself is less effective than IVF. The third time everything worked out, when my period came, hCG showed that I was finally pregnant. In conclusion, I will say that although the drug has side effects, it really works, but I advise you to use it during IVF, since IUI, despite the effectiveness of the drug, does not guarantee pregnancy.

I am 37 years old and have never had children. The exact cause was not determined, so I decided to undergo IVF. That’s why I prescribed Ovitrel – as it turned out, it helps the follicles mature faster at the right time. They injected me in the clinic after FGS stimulation, but alas, IVF was unsuccessful twice, so as a result they injected the drug three times - it cost a pretty penny, the drug is expensive, IVF even more so. The injection is not painful, it is given subcutaneously (in the thigh), the side effects are clearly visible. The main ones were constant fatigue and a severe headache, such that I wanted to bang my head against the wall. The drug has no interactions with medications, but the doctor forbade me to take painkillers, so there was still time. I was carefully monitored, because Ovitrel causes hyperstimulation of the ovaries, which threatens a cyst, so they did an ultrasound and tested blood for estradiol more than once. But the torment was worth it, the third IVF was successful - finally, and now I have a little daughter.
