All lessons from the course were tested on my friends who knew how to use a computer, but their knowledge was very limited.
Of these there were: one accountant, one secretary, two gamer neighbors and my father, who bought himself a computer literally three days before the completion of recording this course.

When my father bought a computer, using its components (in disassembled form), he was able to assemble it himself after watching the first discs of the course.

As I recorded the material, I gave all the above-mentioned people my video lessons, and today, they have a basic understanding of computer components, install and reinstall the operating system, drivers and programs. And of course, they work on the computer without any problems.

So, what does the whole course consist of?

Also, I will not talk about outdated devices and ports... These the devices are outdated and out of use... I don’t think it’s necessary to waste your time studying “Computer History”. I will also not talk about rarely used devices, or devices intended for a limited group of users.

And yet, I got it
the largest and most complete Russian-language course on computers.

How to master a computer quickly and easily?! It's actually quite simple!

Greetings, dear blog visitors. Dmitry Smirnov is in touch with you as always, and in this article I would like to address our dear old people, grandparents, parents who cannot understand how to master a computer on their own! Ugh, how much extra literature our bookstores can provide you with, but all of this is not necessary, you just have to follow some tips that will help you master the computer for free!

In the last article I wrote about how maybe this information will also be extremely useful to you! In fact, information on the topic “learning a computer for free” is very popular, and now I will tell you about the main failures of those who are trying to master a computer!

  1. Afraid of breaking something!
  2. Reluctance, because these are like toys!
  3. There is no point in mastering a computer, because why do you need it?!

These are the three most terrible misconceptions of everyone, especially older people, but the answers to these questions can be found in the following lines, namely:

  1. No need to be afraid of breaking anything! Computers have long become high-quality and powerful enough, whether desktop PCs, laptops or tablets! This used to be in the 2000s, back in our days of the groups Ruki Vvverh, Akula, Sveta, Kraski and all the rest, when computers were really like machines, they constantly broke down, and repairs were very, very expensive! Everyone discouraged children from buying a computer with phrases, namely: “Why do you need it, you’ll break something and that’s it!” Nowadays computers are of very high quality, and the most you can break is deleting some shortcut or program; you simply won’t be able to do anything serious!
  2. If you have no desire to learn a computer, then no one can force you to learn a computer! Remember, the computer is no longer a toy, but since 2010 it has become a real source of income! There are many ways, even for schoolchildren, to earn hundreds of thousands of rubles and millions on a computer without leaving home! I have examples where children at the age of 13 already earn 300,000 rubles a month! Even a pensioner can master a computer and benefit from it!
  3. There is no need to be mistaken and think that you will not need a computer! Tell me, how many times have you wanted to communicate with a close relative? How many times do you want to go to the post office or spend money on calling relatives? Having a computer and even simple access to the network for 200 rubles, you get unlimited communication, and you can even see live through a web camera your relative who lives 10,000 kilometers from you and all this is completely free!
  1. Just sit down and break! You need to learn from mistakes! Everyone makes mistakes, even advanced programmers! Just learn to work with a mouse, understand what the keyboard is for, where any buttons are located!
  2. Learn to type with a keyboard simulator! You don't need to buy anything, it's just a program that will teach you how to type quickly and easily! You can easily and easily start typing using just the keyboard!
  3. Do you like to read? Then the book “Computer for Dummies” is for you, or start taking courses using the same Youtube

These are the only ways to learn how to use a computer! No special courses and everything else! Of course, the most the best option Paid courses will be available for you, and live! It is in such courses that you will be taught how to work on a computer, but even if you do not want to pay money to charlotans, you can buy a book on learning a computer, or just go to YouTube, where you can find many detailed videos!

So a miracle happened. Finally, a personal computer or laptop has appeared in your home. But here’s the problem: you don’t know which side to approach it from. And you start thinking about how to learn to work on a computer. The first thing you need to do is stop being afraid of him. It won't break, burn or explode if you press the wrong button. You know how to drive a car, use household appliances, mobile phones. This knowledge is not innate, but acquired. Believe me, a computer is simpler than your microwave oven.

Do you know how to use a laptop correctly? If you don’t want to spend money on repairs or buying a new battery in the near future, we recommend reading the rules for using a laptop, which we discuss below.

Make sure there is good ventilation

The first rule of how to use a laptop is to not let it overheat. When working for a long time, loading “heavy” games and programs, the internal parts of the laptop begin to heat up, so fans are built into the case to cool them. That is, initially the computer was created in such a way as to cool itself, however improper care behind a laptop may interfere with this. For example, working on a laptop on a bed, on a sofa, on your lap, etc., negatively affects its condition, since it blocks the ventilation holes and allows dust to get inside.

How to use a laptop correctly in this case? Firstly, place it exclusively on the hard surface for which it is intended. Secondly, you can purchase a simple laptop stand in the store that will not block ventilation holes, or even purchase a special stand that will additionally cool the laptop. As a last resort, you can use a small life hack - place the device on cardboard stand from under the eggs.

Don't keep your laptop charging

Another tip for those who want to know how to extend the life of a laptop and understand how to use it correctly: do not charge it constantly. When using home laptops, we often leave them charging literally non-stop, without turning them off. charger from the outlet, but this makes caring for the laptop very difficult. The laptop battery begins to lose its charge capacity, and after a year or two of use it may not be able to withstand more than 15 minutes of battery life.

How should you use your laptop and charger if you mostly work on it at home? The debate on this issue still continues, but we suggest removing the laptop battery and storing it separately, maintaining a charge of 80%. When you need to work on your computer autonomously, then you will insert the battery back and be fully equipped. Until then, you can use the laptop by simply charging it from the network.

Buy an uninterruptible power supply

The following follows from the previous operating rule - purchasing a block uninterruptible power supply(UPS). Of course, if there are no power outages in your area, then you can risk working without it, although a sudden power surge will various reasons no one is immune. But if it does happen, then you may lose data from hard drive, and the laptop itself may become unusable, therefore, in order not to pay twice, it is better to take care of the UPS.

Take care of your display

The most vulnerable part of a laptop is the display, so not only should you not touch it with your hands, but you should also not wipe it with anything. Don't even think about cleaning the screen with window cleaner or alcohol! We recommend using either special lint-free wipes for displays, or a soft cloth soaked in a solution of water and vinegar (1:1). The water must be distilled so that there are no stains or sediment left.

Use your bag

So that you have the opportunity to carry your device to school, work, and wherever you need mobile access to a computer, you need to purchase a laptop bag. First of all, it is able to protect the contents from dust, dirt and mechanical damage as a result of crushing, for example - especially important for overcrowded buses and subway cars. You should also use a bag to prevent your laptop from getting too cold in the cold in winter.

By the way, you shouldn’t use your laptop immediately after you come indoors from the cold. Wait at least forty minutes for the device to adapt to the new temperature, otherwise dangerous condensation will appear on it, and the laptop itself may fail.

Clean periodically

One way or another, over time, the laptop still gets dirty from the inside, since the fans draw dust into it during operation, right along with the air. When a lot of dust accumulates, it begins to seriously overheat, which can lead to breakdowns and data loss. Therefore, you need to contact a service center approximately once every one and a half to two years, where they will clean the “insides” of your electronic assistant from dust and, if necessary, replace the thermal paste.

You can disassemble and clean your laptop at home, if you approach it wisely - an example is shown in this video:

Take it for yourself and tell your friends!
